Wendy Shearer is a Professional London Storyteller.  Her EYFS storytelling caters for all ages from babies to pre-school age.  Wendy ca bring stories and rhymes to life for your themed events and celebrations with Black History Month workshops, Culture Week, World Book Day and to support your literacy.

Wendy Shearer’s style is oral storytelling where she tells folktales and tailored children’s stories that include familiar nursery rhymes and action songs for children to get involved with the session.  Bright, colorful props, puppets and instruments are brought along which all the children and babies love.

Special Education Needs (SEN)

Wendy Shearer’s storytelling sessions also cater for multi-disabled and visually impaired children.  Stories are tailored to ensure that all children have an opportunity to enjoy and experience sensory play, music and rhythm during the storytelling sessions.  Her storytelling sessions support the early learning goals and can follow popular EYFS themes such as seasons, dinosaurs, animals, colours…Instruments used during storytelling at Coconut Nursery
